Awesome Experience... Sport 160

The standard Elise is a world-beater with a mere 120PS (118bhp), so just imagine the awesome potential of the Sport 160. Complete with special Lotus sports suspension, wider wheels and tyres, and upgraded brakes, the Sport 160 is designed for drivers who believe you can never have enough power.

Tuned to deliver sensational performance at very high engine speeds, the Sport 160 is ideal for track days when youàre free to stretch the engine and chassis to the absolute limit. Yet thanks to carefully chosen gear ratios, the hard-hitting baby supercar is also a relaxed motorway cruiser.

On road or track the Sport 160 dishes up thrills like no other car on earth — just think of it as having irresistible force.

What the papers say...

'Fire the K series into life and immediately you know something special is going on behind your head. Gone is the K series clatter, replaced by a lumpy tickover and an angry growl from the tuned power. For some it will be too much, for others just right. From 3000rpm the engine comes alive, picking up its stride and galloping head-long towards the horizon. Keep going past 5000rpm and the Sport 160 takes on a whole new role— the growl deepens and the tacho swings round to 7000rpm in the blink of an eye.'
