Problems: blew head gasket 6 weeks after purchase racing a 911.

Rebuilt using high compression pistons and liners, block machined to except them. Cylinder head machined and compression raised to 8.5 to 1. Boost raised to 9 PSI By previous owner.
After blowing head gasket I replaced the cylinder head studs for the latest non stretching verity and used new spec head gasket to reduce compression, rebuilt head with new valve guides and replaced one piston and linear. Spacers removed from waste gate to reduce boost back to 7 PSI 6 years on and now thinking of increasing boost again.
Rose jointed connections on cross gate cable and selector Rod. 100% improvement in feel and makes changing gear enjoyable again.
Adjustable front shockers and new springs, complete brake overhaul and new Stainless brake lines.
Increased engine bay ventilation, fan assisted via left hand intake (normally sealed on this model). Front driving lamps. Clear side repeater indicators. Engine hatch rams, mounting points modified to allow complete vertical opening of hatch for maintenance purposes.
Seats recovered with genuine lotus hide. Carbon Fibre Effect dash. Self dipping rear view mirror. Windscreen wash system fitted to wiper blade. Thatcham Cat 1 alarm. Turbo Timer.
